Morning Announcements

October 2nd, 2025: 

Good Morning - it is day 2

 

Crib Club:

Crib club is happening today at lunch in room 223. All are welcome. 

 

Board Game Cafe:

Do you love board games or card games? We’ve got you covered. Bring your lunch and come join us every Thursday (today) at 11:40 in Room 213 for the Board Game Cafe.

 

Travel Club:

There will be a quick meeting for students interested in travelling with Mr. Strickey to Italy this coming June on Friday at 12 noon in the Art Room. All interested students are welcome to attend. 

 

Yearbook:

There will be a meeting Thursday at noon in the computer lab room 131.  

Bobcat Buzz: 

Meeting today in room 273 at 12:00noon  

 

Heavy Equipment Simulator:

Mr. Peck will be allowing students some time on the heavy equipment simulator in the conference room at lunch. 

Today during second period, (10:30am) Geoff Iliffe and Laura Matheson from Island Construction will be at Bluefield to talk to any students interested in Heavy Equipment Operation. You must sign up in Student Services to attend. This will be held in the reading room in the library.

Athletics

Bobcat Round Up- AAA men’s and Women’s volleyball fell to TOSH, Men’s soccer tied Rural 1-1 and Women’s field hockey defeated Montague 5-1.

Good luck to all our cross-country runners taking part in the qualifier at Rural this afternoon. Bus leaves at 11:50. 

Good luck to our golf team participating in their 2nd qualifier @ Avondale today.

Science/Math Tutors:

The Science/Math Hub will be open to students starting next Tuesday. Bring your lunch and work on math or science with peer and teacher support. The Hub will be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in room 213. Maybe you want to review previous material or understand a new concept better. Feel free to pop by! All are welcome!

Fly tying & fly fishing course:

The Central Queens Branch of the PEI Wildlife Federation will be starting a fly tying and fly fishing course for beginners.  Please visit their facebook page for more information.

Debate Club Seminar

The PEI Student Debate Association is hosting a seminar about how to form a debate club. The event takes place in Summerside on Thursday October 16th, interested students should see Ms.Gatha in the fishbowl today at lunch if they haven’t already.
