Student Services:
Grade 12 Presentations start TODAY and run until Thursday during homeroom classes.  If you miss your presentation, please see one of the counsellors in Student Services.
 
Pearson College Opportunity (two years at Pearson (near Victoria, BC) to finish High School - IB Diploma).  Open to students in grade 11.  Deadline October 16th, 2022. More information in Student Services.
 
  
Youth-On-Board Program 
Youth in rural communities – enrolled in Grades 10 to 12 – have the opportunity to take an active role in non-profit boards and municipal government in their communities. Through the Youth-on-Board Program they will learn about what it means to be a member of a Board of Directors, how to properly run a meeting, and how to better develop a resume. Students and Volunteer Groups will receive an honorarium. Deadline to apply is TOMORROW, September 27! More information in Student Services.

Well-being Wednesdays:
Every Wednesday, 9AM - 12PM
Opportunity of meet with a nurse or social worker to discuss concerns related to well-being such as: stress, anxiety, depression, sexual heath, self harm, thoughts of suicide or other mental health related topics
Student appointments will be arranged in a discreet manner, students can request an appointment by filling out a slip located outside room 236
 

 

The Workers Compensation Board (WCB) is seeking two (2) high school students per school to work as a team of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Leaders. As participants, you will each receive $500 when you successfully complete the program. Application to the program is open until Friday, September 30, 2022. Based on submitted applications, we will select and notify each school’s OHS leadership team by Friday, October 7, 2022.
