A reminder to Grade 10 and 11 students, tomorrow is the last day to choose your courses for the next year. 


Get ready for the next Blue Bistro this Friday April 26th! Come on down to the foods lab to get a delicious dish of cowboy beef chilli, a warm cheesy biscuit and not on, but two homemade chocolate chip cookies, all for only $10. You won’t wanna miss it! Please order and pay in the main office. If anyone is interested in a gluten free option, please see Mrs. McQuaid no later than Wednesday at the end of the day. 


It’s that time of year again. The annual Art’s Coffee House mug design contest is now live. Students can pick up a mug template from Mr. Strictly or speak with Mr. Lamey if they are interested in submitting a digital art submission. The winning design will be featured on our custom Art’s Coffee House mugs. You have until April 26th to submit your designs. 


Student Council:

  • Hey bobcats dust off your flannels and cowboy boots because Bluefield is having our very own BBMF(Bluefield Bobcat Music Festival). Show off your best jigs and line dances on Wednesday, May 1st from 6-8 for this honky tonk dance, Please note the date change! If anyone bought tickets and can’t make the new date please see Mrs. Burry for a refund. Tickets will be sold in the student lobby today for 10$, and 15$ for sign ins. Sign ins must be submitted to the office by April 29 to allow entry into the dance! Hope to see all that true bobcat spirit on the dance floor! If you buy one of the first 150 tickets you will receive a blue country bandana, so get you tickets early! 

 

Want to exercise your green thumb and make Bluefield beautiful? Come to rm 211 today at 11:45 for a gardening club meeting. Looking for new members and creative ideas as we develop a new club at the school.

UPEI Bachelor of Integrated Studies (BIS) Information Sessions Would having a university degree give you more opportunities? UPEI's Bachelor of Integrated Studies program is specifically designed for mature learners who are looking to earn a university degree. Students may study in Arts, Business or Science and pursue studies either part-time or full-time. The Bachelor of Integrated Studies at the University of Prince Edward Island places the unique needs of adult learners in focus, with a distinct entry point, ongoing learner support, choice of courses to meet employment requirements and personal interests. To learn more about the Bachelor of Integrated Studies degree program at the University of Prince Edward Island, you are invited to attend one of the live online events. This will include general information and guidance on completing your application. Attendees will be given a promo code to have their application fee waived ($50 CAD value).

The Town of Cornwall is searching for a new mascot and they need your help!
Drawing Contest Criteria:

  • Must be a resident of Cornwall
  • Must be 18 years of age or younger
  • Only one entry per person
  • Entry should represent the features of the Town of Cornwall and publicize the Town
  • To be used as a costume and merchandise and advertising goods
  • Mascot artwork/design should be original work only. Clip art images/illustrations are not permitted
  • Mascot concepts should provide basic design elements and the description of the mascot
