Bobcat Relay:
The Bobcat Relay is back! This year, it will be held right after school on Tuesday, September 27th. Register with a team of 5-6 people. 
 
Team Registration for the Bobcat Relay is TODAY, Tuesday, September 20th in the lobby between 12:00 and 12:20 at lunchtime. Registration pick-up will be on Thursday, September 22nd and Friday September 23rd. Please make sure you return all signed forms at the same time.
 
Please bring your bikes in the morning of Monday, September 26th, or Tuesday, September 27th to the phys ed area. Please ensure the bikers are in the Carpentry Lab (Room 133) during lunch the day of the event to have your bikes inspected.
 

Athletics:

  • There will be a meeting for the A Women’s soccer team in room 239 today at 11:45  to distribute permission forms. All must attend. 
  • There will be a Field hockey team meeting in room 239 today at 12:00 to distribute permission forms. All must attend

LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY PAGE PROGRAM
Would you like to be a Page in the Prince Edward Island Legislature? This is a unique opportunity to see the legislature in action!  Pages are an integral part of the legislative process at the Legislative Assembly - not only will you see history in the making; you will be part of it!

The Occupational Health & Safety Leadership Program
The Workers Compensation Board (WBC) is seeking two high school students per school to work as a team of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Leaders in your schools.  As participants you will receive $500 when you successfully complete this program.  More information and applications available in Student Services. Deadline:  September 30th.
 

Yearbook:
There will be a yearbook meeting on Thursday September 22 at 12 noon in room 223 (down from the Foods lab) for any student interested in joining the yearbook committee this year.  
 
The 2021-22 yearbooks have arrived.  A table will be set up in the lobby to hand them out this week TODAY and Wednesday September 21 during lunch.
 

Cribbage Club will be held today in Room 223 at lunch. All are welcome. Feel free to bring lunch with you but note it is a nut free classroom. 

 

Bluefield Art Club will be starting up again TOMORROW from 3:30-5 PM in the Art room. You do not have to be a student in art class to be a member of the art club, all are welcome. The art club works on projects which are displayed around the school and in classrooms. There is always good music, good food , and good times.

 

Mr. Flynn’s Conservation 521 is to go to the classroom for today’s class.

 

The Bluefield Envirothon meeting is cancelled for today but will meet tomorrow in Mr. Flynn’s class at 12:00.

 

Well-being Wednesdays:
Every Wednesday, 9AM - 12PM
Opportunity of meet with a nurse or social worker to discuss concerns related to well-being such as: stress, anxiety, depression, sexual heath, self harm, thoughts of suicide or other mental health related topics
Student appointments will be arranged in a discreet manner, students can request an appointment by filling out a slip located outside room 236
 
 
 
The PEI Soccer Association is hosting the U15 Soccer Club Nationals from Wednesday Oct5th to Monday Oct 10th . We are looking for some volunteers over the 6-day event.   We are looking for the following positions: ticket sellers, ball retrievers, canteen workers, game clock operators and Game Statistics & Data Entry.  These games will be held at UPEI University fields and the Terry Fox Sports Complex in Cornwall.
